In the plain of Gioia Tauro, the citrus groves, the difference between life or death, between the permanence or escape, for three thousand African immigrants make the three euro cents. It is the gap that exists between the cost and revenue in the production of oranges and clementines. Between what is spent on labor for the collection and what is gained, however, with the transformation. And it is the ultimate reason for the hunt black, managed and coordinated by the local Mafia families, which took place on the streets and countryside of Rosarno last week.
